The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a skilled Urologist to join our team at the Hampton, VA Medical Center. As a Urologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our urology department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of a general urology surgery program, including clinical, administrative, academic, and research components.
- Coordinate care with VA's tertiary care facilities and VA-DoD sharing partners.
- Perform administrative tasks such as documentation, dictation, and electronic entry of doctor's orders.
- Provide surgical treatment for genitourinary injury and diseases.
- Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
- Provide leadership guidance and consultation to staff.
- Supervise and teach house staff and other trainees.
Requirements:
- Board certification in Urology.
- Experience in urology surgery and patient care.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
