About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Couple Care Specialist to join our team at Dignity Health's Chandler Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our postpartum unit, you will provide high-quality care to new mothers and their newborns, ensuring a smooth transition to parenthood.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to postpartum mothers and newborns, addressing their unique physical, emotional, and educational needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective care plans to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Deliver comprehensive education to patients and families on postpartum care, newborn feeding, and parenting techniques.
  • Support mothers in initiating and maintaining breastfeeding, as well as other feeding methods as needed.
Requirements
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in postpartum or neonatal care.
  • AZ RN license or RN license from a Compact State.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS card.
  • NRP certification within six months.
