Recreational Therapist

Job Summary:

Crest Manor Living & Rehab is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Activities Aide. As an Activities Aide, you will be responsible for implementing age-specific and individualized activities and group programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activity Planning and Implementation: Plan and promote resident activities in advance to provide quality programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
• Record Keeping: Record resident activity participation daily on our electronic computer documentation system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Supply Management: Request needed supplies in advance to ensure material availability and minimize disruptions to our programs.
• Communication: Deliver calendars, newsletters, and activity books to resident rooms to keep them informed and engaged.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a similar role or field preferred.
• Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong organizational and time management skills.
