Position Overview:
Best Flow is in search of a skilled Oilfield Tubular CNC Operator. The CNC Operator is responsible for managing the computer numerical control machinery. Daily responsibilities include maintaining, setting up, and adjusting the equipment, which requires a solid understanding of both the software and hardware components. The CNC Operator will process materials and execute tasks such as drilling, cutting, and shaping metal.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze machining requirements by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material specifications.
2. Conduct inventory checks to assess stock levels and place orders as necessary.
3. Program CNC mills and lathes by inputting precise instructions, including reference points.
4. Set up machinery by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, and attachments.
5. Load materials into the feed mechanism.
6. Verify machine settings by measuring positions and inspecting initial parts.
7. Ensure adherence to specifications during drilling, grooving, and cutting operations.
8. Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
9. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
10. Document production and quality logs to maintain continuity across shifts.
11. Enhance job knowledge through ongoing educational opportunities.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
2. At least 1 year of experience in oilfield pipe threading.
3. Proficient in operating yard equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
4. Experience with CNC mills is essential.
5. Strong computer and technical skills are required.
6. Attention to detail is crucial.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
8. Effective communication skills with supervisors and team members.

Working Environment:


This role involves physical activities such as bending, lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods. The job may require moderate to heavy lifting and the ability to work in confined spaces.

Exposure to varying noise levels, vibrations, and environmental conditions is expected. Personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hearing protection will be necessary.

Employees must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain focus amidst interruptions.
