Are you a detail-oriented and compassionate individual looking for a rewarding career in patient care? We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Raleigh General Hospital.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for managing various phases of the patient encounter, including timely and accurate patient registration, appointment scheduling, check-in, check-out, and collection of payments. As a medical assistant, you will also serve as a liaison between patients and medical support staff, performing clinical and lab-related tasks under the guidance of a physician or mid-level provider.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform receptionist and registration duties for the office
  • Perform clinical and patient care duties for the office

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a high school diploma or equivalent, who possesses critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Additionally, you will need to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days and CMA certification within 6 months of hire.
