Role Overview: Our organization is an FQHC seeking qualified and experienced Staff Physicians to deliver care in our Adult Medicine clinic. The Staff Physician will provide thorough primary health care, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention for patients. This role involves specialized care in collaboration with a dedicated care team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Graduate from an accredited medical school with Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases.
  • Possess valid licensure in the State of Connecticut and have or be eligible for DEA and state narcotic registration.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care efficiently.
  • Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population with complex needs in a collaborative setting.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, peers, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain timely, thorough, and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Make evidence-based clinical decisions and adhere to departmental and organizational quality standards.
  • Utilize electronic health records and other computer systems proficiently.
  • Exhibit a resourceful, problem-solving attitude with accountability.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Preferred candidates will have 3+ years of experience in an ambulatory setting or urgent care, and bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a plus.
  • All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
