Job SummaryThe Assistant Director for the Early Learning Center is responsible for supporting the daily operations of TCC's Early Learning Center in accordance with state licensing requirements and ECEAP regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to diversity and cultural sensitivity.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing and supervising the Early Learning Center's facilities and programs.
- Supervise and evaluate staff, including hiring, training, and coaching.
- Communicate effectively with families and community stakeholders.
- Oversee grants and contracts with other agencies.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience teaching young children, as well as demonstrated experience in supervising staff and managing center operations. Strong organizational and planning skills are essential, along with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
