Job Summary

As an OR Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our interdisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare for each procedure and/or surgery by ensuring adequate stock and equipment are available in assigned areas.
  • Assist with post-procedure workload, including cleaning the room between procedures, putting away unused supplies, and setting up for the next procedure.
  • Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person, delegating tasks in accordance with the competency level of staff members.
  • Rotate to areas other than the OR and perform only duties demonstrated competency.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
  • One (1) year minimum experience in the perioperative (OR) setting is required.
  • ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • CNOR preferred.
