Braun Intertec is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand their skills and certifications through company-provided training and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various field and laboratory tests to ensure the quality and safety of geotechnical projects.
  • Work independently on specific assignments of limited scope and collaborate with engineers on larger projects as a team member.
  • Prepare proposals for geotechnical and material testing projects, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Manage basic geotechnical and material testing projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain client communications and build strong relationships through effective communication and project updates.
  • Develop solutions, make recommendations, and prepare engineering reports for review and approval.
  • Observe construction in progress and report to project engineers to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform field-related services at least 50% of the time.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Prior professional consulting experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Proficiency in field-testing and report writing.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical or materials emphasis.
  • EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
