Position Overview: Bartender
As a bartender at Tucanos, you will infuse the lively spirit of Rio de Janeiro into our guests' experiences, utilizing your friendly and vibrant personality along with your skills in crafting both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to order.
You will have the chance to assist and guide guests in selecting food and drink options that will elevate their dining experience.
Your role will also involve using advanced point of sale systems to ensure accurate order entry, processing, and closing.
In addition to guest interaction, you will communicate effectively with both front and back-of-house team members to deliver a dining experience that surpasses guest expectations.
You will maintain responsibility for all aspects of the bar area, including setup and stocking for each shift, managing storage areas, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, utensils, and tools. You will also implement inventory controls and adhere to all liquor laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional Guest Relations Skills
- High school diploma; additional bartending training is preferred
- At least one year of relevant experience
- Experience with cash handling and operating point of sale systems
- Flexible availability
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Effective time management skills
- Professional appearance, communication, and conduct
