Job Summary: The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products. This role is essential in ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review production schedules, customer orders, and shipping requests to determine items to be moved or distributed.
  • Transport materials from receiving or production areas to designated storage locations.
  • Organize materials on racks, shelves, and bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, or product code.
  • Process requisitions and distribute items to production staff as needed.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare them for shipping.
  • Label materials with identifying information for easy tracking.
  • Open containers and record quantities of materials received or distributed.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards by weighing or counting items.
  • Utilize computer systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Drive vehicles to transport stored items or collect supplies.
  • Complete requisition forms for ordering supplies from other departments.
  • Maintain inventory records and assist with other duties as assigned.
