Job Summary:

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team of fire protection professionals. As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing fire alarm systems to ensure the safety of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose fire alarm systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
  • Repair and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Provide detailed reports and recommended corrective actions to customers
  • Work with customers, contractors, and other employees to ensure excellent customer service and care
  • Meet the requirements for a valid Texas State Fire Marshal FAL License and a valid Driver's License

Requirements:

  • At least five (5) years' experience in the field installation, inspection, programming, or servicing of fire alarm detection systems
  • Proven record of providing excellent customer service and care
  • Excellent verbal communication skills required to work with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and managers
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with other team members
  • Valid Texas State Fire Marshal FAL License and a valid Driver's License
  • Pass Drug and Background screening, including motor vehicle records, and ability to obtain an airport badge with customs clearance
  • Able to obtain NICET I in Fire Alarm Systems in 90 days
