About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Vice President of Belonging at Novant Health. This key leadership role will play a pivotal part in advancing our organization's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership for our Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and work closely with the Health Equity team to integrate inclusive principles into all aspects of our organization.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to address social determinants of health and promote a culture of belonging among our team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive DEI efforts and create a safe and inclusive environment for all.
  • Lead the development and implementation of DEI programs and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Monitor and analyze data to drive DEI outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree in HR, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in a multi-entity organization.
  • 2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of DEI principles and their application within large, complex organizations.
  • Experience leading teams through change and implementing DEI programs and initiatives.
  • Expertise in using data analytics to drive DEI outcomes.
  • Proven success in creating inclusive environments and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
