Job Description:The Chief Accounting Officer will be responsible for directing the accounting and financial reporting for BJC HealthCare system wide. This includes overseeing the revenue recognition, accounts receivable reserves, and government reimbursement processes. The successful candidate will also manage individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed.
The Chief Accounting Officer will have a proven track record of innovation, experience in developing excellent relationships, and a history of establishing themselves as a competent leader with all members of an Executive Leadership Team. They must be able to drive consistency, compliance, and data integrity in all financial and accounting initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting and have strategic thinking skills with the ability to partner with executive and system leadership in strategic and tactical planning and implementation.
