Clinical Psychologist

As a Clinical Psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult and child members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Mental Health Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including test administration, interpretation, and recommendations, to diagnose and treat a broad range of mental health conditions.
- Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care.
- Psychotherapy and Counseling: Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as crisis intervention services, to support patients in achieving their mental health goals.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with physicians, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and consultation.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to state and NCQA regulations.
- Education: PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Licensure: Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.
- Experience: Previous clinical experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous Clinical Experience: Previous experience in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and psychological evaluations.
- Specialized Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation, as well as experience with DSM-V.
