Transformational Education Leader for K-12 Charter Schools in New York City

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Transformational Education Leader to join our team of passionate educators at Success Academy. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experiences of our students and driving academic excellence throughout our network of charter schools.
Located in New York City, our organization is committed to providing a high-quality education to students from low-income neighborhoods, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in college and beyond. Our teachers receive extensive training and support, allowing them to focus on what matters most – fostering a love of learning in their students.
Key Responsibilities- Lesson Planning and Instruction:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, leveraging a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance student learning.
- Manage a classroom of 20+ scholars, creating a productive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing timely feedback and support to help students improve.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Classroom Management:
- Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures, promoting a culture of respect and responsibility among students.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to support student success.

Requirements- A bachelor's degree (a background in education is not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for learning and commitment to student development.
- Ability to work in person in New York City ($2500 stipend for qualified relocations).

Compensation: $65,000.00
