Job Summary

Maclay Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of residents' rooms, common areas, and facilities, adhering to infection control and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Perform a variety of housekeeping duties, including cleaning, washing, and sanitizing bathrooms, floors, windows, mirrors, and light fixtures.
  • Trash Removal: Assist with removing trash and relining trash receptacles.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the Director of Housekeeping & Laundry to ensure seamless execution of housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Education or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Experience: Housekeeping experience preferred, but not required, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Qualifications: Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity.
