Gastroenterologist - Generalist with Advanced GI Training

Job Summary:

Vancouver Clinic, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team of experienced physicians. As a Gastroenterologist - Generalist with Advanced GI Training, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general gastroenterology services to patients, including routine endoscopies and colonoscopies
  • Develop and maintain a strong EUS practice, leveraging a good referral base and collaborating with local foregut and hepatobiliary surgeons
  • Participate in a primarily generalist position with one day per week dedicated to advanced procedures
  • Work closely with a dedicated GI hospitalist to cover weekday daytime general call
  • Contribute to a team-oriented culture that prioritizes quality care and work-life balance

Benefits and Compensation:

  • $100,000 retention bonus
  • Competitive salary range: $600,000 - $625,000
  • Innovative salary-based compensation model that offers flexibility and competitiveness
  • 4-day workweek with mostly general GI work and one day reserved for advanced procedures
  • 12 - 17 patients per day
  • Excellent benefits package, including retirement plan and paid malpractice and tail coverage
  • Opportunity for partnership after 2 years

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Gastroenterology
  • Advanced training in EUS and/or ERCP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
