Position Summary

The Lead HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and installation of designated HVAC and refrigeration systems, including chilled water systems, boilers, and various mechanical, electrical, and structural systems, in alignment with client specifications and requirements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is mandatory
  • Valid and current driver's license is required

Desirable Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in HVAC is preferred
  • Certification in refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational training is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, calibrate, and adjust thermostats, burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches, and electrical systems
  • Utilize standard HVAC tools in daily operations (e.g., multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, hand tools, etc.)
  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and apparatus
  • Identify potential maintenance issues on equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems within HVAC systems
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and execute warranty services
  • Conduct emergency repairs swiftly and effectively
  • Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training
  • Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance activities
  • Ensure adherence to appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Follow service standards, work instructions, and customer specifications
  • Assist with customer inquiries
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
  • Entry-level HVAC technicians are encouraged to apply
