Job Title: Behavioral Therapist

At Mindful Sprouts, we are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with children with exceptionalities and their families, providing behavioral evaluations, designing behavior support plans, and conducting regular caregiver and/or teacher training.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and evaluate behavioral assessment measures and functional assessment measures
  • Develop individualized goals and objectives for home, community, and school-based programs
  • Teach Registered Behavioral Technicians the proper implementation of clinical behavior programs and plans
  • Conduct regular caregiver and/or teacher training
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians and conduct weekly supervision meetings
  • Update client program and material
  • Arrive at appointments and meetings on time and respond to correspondence in a timely fashion
  • Treat clients, customers, and coworkers with dignity and respect
  • Meet with the Clinical Director to discuss client progress and satisfaction
  • Maintain records and complete necessary documentation
  • Meet billable caseload and document hours according to state and federal regulations
  • Participate in professional meetings and conferences

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or related field
  • BCBA certification and/or licensed professional
  • At least two years of experience serving individuals with ASDs or related diagnoses
  • Strong knowledge of behavior-analytic therapies
  • Experience with staff training and supervision
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well as part of a team
