Job Summary:

The Traveling Registered Dental Assistant will provide support to our dentists during treatments, exams, and treatment discussions with patients. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision.
  • Capture quality x-ray images.
  • Assist dentist with a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms.
  • Discuss treatment options, importance, and follow-up recommended care.
  • Support with patient treatment appointment scheduling as requested.
  • Sterilize instruments and follow cross-contamination standards.
  • Create positive and uplifting patient environments through patient engagement before, during, and after visits.
  • Guide parents and patients through post-care instructions.
  • Assist patients with company-provided prizes and dismissal.
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Assist with consults.
  • Set up sterile room.
  • Unload equipment.
  • Equipment inventory (binder).
  • Crash cart and O2 tank set up outside OP rooms.
  • Help unload equipment.
  • Turn on water, air, and vacuum.
  • Set up OP rooms with assigned helper (making sure capnography machines time and date are set).
  • Sterile (owning sterile making sure the team does not fall behind).
  • Post-op panos.
  • Escort patients out.
  • Flip rooms with helper that day.
  • Extra assistant in surgery room.
  • Bring patients back (connecting them to the monitor).
  • Maintenance on all OS equipment.
  • Remove IV.
  • Assist surgeon.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Texas-issued Registered Dental Assistant licensing preferred.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-starter, and demonstrates initiative.
  • Flexible and innovative; highly adaptable to the dynamic business environment.

Schedule and Location:

Denton Area (Multiple Locations: Lewisville, Garland, Grand Prairie, Plano, Denton & Greenville)

Monday-Saturday
