Job Summary:

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lead Teacher to join our team in the Twos program. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for the coordination of classroom operations, including the implementation of our proprietary curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate classroom operations, including the implementation of our proprietary curriculum.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Complies with all company and state-specific standards and maintain validation of required credentials for the position.
  • Complies with all state-specific education requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree including 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field.
  • Associate degree including 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field.
  • High School Diploma or GED and an awarded CDA (Child Development Associate).
