Responsibilities:
  • Provide tracheostomy and ventilator care to patients in a private duty setting
  • Assess patient condition and care needs, and report changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan
  • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current Pennsylvania State Nursing License in good standing
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
