Job Summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Hospital's Clinical Neurophysiology Department is seeking a skilled Electroencephalography (EEG) Technologist to join our team. As a CLTM EEG Technologist, you will play a critical role in recording and analyzing neurophysiologic potentials for the diagnosis and prognosis of diseases and conditions involving the nervous system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and analyze EEG data to diagnose and monitor neurological conditions
  • Work under indirect supervision, demonstrating competence and independence in performing complex procedures
  • Participate in committees and investigate new practices to present to peers
  • Function as a mentor and resource for staff and patients
Requirements
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program of Electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology or equivalent
  • Registered as an EEG Technician by ABRET and certified Long Term Monitoring Technician by ABRET
  • Two years of EEG Tech work experience
  • Ability to work irregular hours, rotating shifts, and weekends
