Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist (RT), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care as a member of the Respiratory Team. Your duties will include evaluating patients, recommending treatment plans, providing respiratory care, and performing endotracheal tube insertion and removal. You will also be expected to document patient information accurately and promote continuous quality improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must possess a graduate degree from a respiratory care program, current licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state, and registration as an RRT or CRT. Additionally, you should have current BLS certification and be willing to obtain ACLS within six months of hire. Critical care experience in a hospital setting is highly desirable.
