Overview:

Collaborative Support Programs of NJ Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to mental health, is looking for a Residential Cleaner to join our team in a full-time capacity. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of shared living spaces through various cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping across different floor types
  • Dusting surfaces including ceilings, light fixtures, countertops, and furniture
  • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas
  • Managing waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles
  • Washing and drying windows to maintain visibility and cleanliness
  • Ensuring all common areas are organized and presentable
  • Working collaboratively with residents to promote effective cleaning habits
  • Coordinating with the Regional Coordinator to maintain adequate cleaning supplies
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the Regional Coordinator
  • Carrying out additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Position Details:

  • Full-time | 40 hours per week
  • Benefits include 6 weeks of PTO & 11 Holidays
  • Annual Salary: $35,000.00

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with various cleaning products and equipment
  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods
  • Capability to lift up to 20 pounds for brief periods
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Proficient in completing tasks independently within set deadlines
  • Experience working compassionately with individuals facing mental health challenges
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
  • Valid NJ Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Lived Experience: We value candidates who draw from their personal experiences with mental health or substance use to support and guide others.
