Mountain Ltd., a national leader in the telecommunications industry, has an exciting opportunity for a Telecommunications Network Design Engineer.

As a Telecommunications Network Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and planning outside plant facility engineering tasks, including estimating, analyzing, designing, and budget tracking for copper and fiber cables, poles, direct buried, and conduit systems.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports. You will also be responsible for preparing loop loss design for load and repeater electronics, planning and designing field-mounted switch serving areas, and performing pole, conduit, and buried facility design measurements to support company and industry OSP design standards and economic feasibility studies.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for collecting field data, preparing permit packages for submittal to regulatory entities, maintaining complex files, keeping records, searching, and investigating information contained in files, processing departmental documents requiring specific knowledge of functional operations, posting records, typing correspondence and reports from rough drafts, and assisting engineers as requested.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a strong understanding of COE/OSP principles, work order procedures, voice/data industry standards, PC applications, and COE/OSP record and/or computer-aided drafting systems.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
