Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Reading, MA. This full-time position involves working at a therapeutic sub-separate high school serving students ages 14-22 with significant disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique requirements.
  • Provide direct services, including 2 x 30 min/week sessions, dyads, and whole class formats, to support students' educational goals.
  • Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices as part of a total communication approach to enhance students' communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
  • Monitor and document students' progress to inform treatment plans and make data-driven decisions.
  • Provide training and resources to staff and families to promote a culture of inclusion and support.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Experience working with students with significant disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
