Cybersecurity Specialist

Leidos is seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join our team in Clarksburg, WV. As a leading provider of IT services, we develop and sustain large data and technology infrastructures and integrate complex law enforcement IT systems for US federal agencies.

• Conduct security audits, risk analysis, and application-level vulnerability testing to identify potential threats.
• Develop and implement technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and identify new attack vectors and develop strategies to address them.

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• DOD Secret Clearance required.

• Experience with Linux operating systems and JIRA software development tools.
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence software.

Leidos offers a competitive salary range of $101,000 to $183,300, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, and applicable bargaining agreements.
