Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Survey Party Chief to join our team at Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. in Las Vegas, NV.

About the Role: As a Survey Party Chief, you will be responsible for leading a team of surveyors in the collection of geospatial data. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the survey field crew, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Direction: Provide guidance and direction to the survey field crew, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Operational and Company Level: Promote the firm's capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing clients.
  • Do the Work: Supervise the survey field crew, coordinate with contractors, identify controls for property lines, gather necessary information, and make calculations and maintain records essential to survey.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required, associate's degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Three or more (3+) years of experience working on a land surveying party.
  • Skills: Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred, thorough knowledge of construction stakeout procedures and practices, familiar with field procedures for performing boundary and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys.

Working Environment: The Survey Party Chief will work in a partly indoor professional office environment and partly outdoor work environment, which may include adverse weather conditions, varying temperatures, excessive noise, and/or potential hazards.

Salary and Benefits: Salary and eligible variable compensation commensurate with experience, range $41.00 hourly, includes a comprehensive benefits package.
