Survey Technician

Forge ahead with WSB, a design and consulting firm specializing in engineering, community planning, environmental, and construction services. We're seeking an experienced survey technician to produce high-quality survey drawings, legal descriptions, and exhibits using Civil 3D and MicroStation software. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines, and support our registered land surveyors and civil engineers on various infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with land surveyors and survey crews before, during, and after field work
• Prepare boundary, ALTA, topographic, engineering, as-built, and easement surveys, descriptions, and exhibits using Civil 3D and MicroStation
• Work with land surveying crews to accurately draft survey data and project managers to meet deadlines
• Answer client calls and respond to inquiries
• Accurately write job request orders
• Research deed and GLO records online and in courthouses
• Draw deed sketches

Requirements:

• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREENING
• High School Diploma or equivalent
