We are seeking a highly qualified Economist to join our team as a Professor of Economics at the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce. As a key member of our academic department, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to the development of our economics program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach introductory and upper-level economics courses, including macroeconomics and microeconomics
  • Develop and maintain a productive research agenda, with a focus on publishing in reputable academic journals
  • Contribute to the development of our economics program, including curriculum design and implementation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advance the mission and goals of the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Economics or expected completion by July 2025
  • Demonstrated ability to combine teaching excellence with productive research
  • Commitment to the character and goals of a liberal arts college
  • Mature commitment to and understanding of the historic Christian faith
Working Conditions
