Job Overview

The Player Progression Academy (PPA) is a premier sports organization in the Washington DC metropolitan area, dedicated to creating exceptional experiences and holistic development through sports. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Sports Coach to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach 1 practice per week and 1 game per weekend (2 hour per week commitment) per team.
  • Coach 1-3 teams per season.
  • Lead your team at the end of season PPA tournament.
  • Send weekly communications to team parents.
Requirements
  • Someone who will follow the PPA coaching principles - be prepared, be a teacher, teach PPA Life values.
  • Someone who will Coach in a manner that is energetic, fun, active, and that creates a memorable experience for our athletes.
  • Someone who will communicate effectively with other PPA Staff and correspond kindly, timely and effectively with parents.
  • Someone who will be a team player and not hesitate to help out where needed throughout the season.
