About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cheese Packaging Specialist. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform packaging duties as assigned by the Packaging Supervisor, including rotating between lines and positions while practicing good ergonomics.
  • Work in a coordinated and cooperative manner in a team setting with team goals, reading and understanding production and packaging schedules and verification reports.
  • Assist in setting up for production and changeovers, visually inspecting product for quality defects, and observing all safety rules, work rules, and procedures.
  • Operate and maintain foamer equipment, adhering to all policies and procedures relating to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and food safety.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent education, experience, or training.
  • An excellent work ethic, consistent attendance, and ability to work overtime and holidays.
  • The ability to work comfortably with mathematical figures (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Physical ability to perform medium to heavy work, including lifting, frequent stooping, squatting, reaching, and handling 25-30# tubs of cheese/finished product.
