Music Therapist

About the Role:

ViaQuest Community Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Board-Certified Music Therapist to join our Music Therapy Team. As a Music Therapist, you will work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing music therapy supports to aid in their development and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the individual's service team to ensure great communication and customer service.
• Subscribe to a clinical strengths-based approach and be invested in the team process.
• Use music therapy to stimulate and develop attention, improve communication between the brain and body, and regulate intentional motor movement patterns.
• Work in a variety of settings, including home and community-based, office-based, and hybrid settings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in music therapy (MT-BC) and valid Indiana driver's license.
• Experience with the Medicaid Waiver, Neurologic Music Therapy, and in the field of Disability Support is highly valued.
• 2 years of music therapy experience preferred.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly professional individual with strong time management skills.
