GENERAL OVERVIEW:

The role involves the analysis, design, testing, debugging, integration, implementation, training, maintenance, and support of healthcare and business-related computer systems. The position requires establishing and nurturing professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that information technology requirements are effectively met. Collaborating with users to assess system needs, the analyst translates these needs into functional and technical specifications, providing recommendations for technology solutions to address application-related challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Uphold the mission, vision, and core values of the organization in all aspects of work.

2. Analyze, develop, and maintain application processes and technologies, utilizing proprietary software tools as necessary. This includes modifying program code to rectify errors and enhance operational efficiency.

3. Review customer specifications and provide guidance on converting them into functional and technical specifications; assist customers in formulating Information Technology requests and developing implementation timelines.

4. Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers to improve their experiences with Bryan Health's technology and systems.

5. Anticipate the effects of new or modified software on existing standards and systems.

6. Troubleshoot computer-related issues, including workflow, hardware, and software problems; resolve incidents in accordance with established service level agreements and collaborate with IT resources to develop effective solutions.

7. Recommend updates to system documentation, including system processes, installation procedures, training materials, and manuals.

8. Apply standard testing methodologies to review and test new and modified systems, ensuring detailed testing scripts are utilized and obtaining necessary approvals.

9. Commit to enhancing the patient experience, focusing on patient safety, quality of care, and excellent service.

10. Participate in the development of implementation timelines alongside colleagues and operations; engage in the installation and testing of applications, monitoring their performance.

11. Adhere to departmental processes, including time tracking and change management.

12. Engage in an On Point rotation to provide consistent support to customers.

13. Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding system enhancement requests and issues requiring resolution.

14. Evaluate operational workflows and system features, contributing to gap analysis and decision-making processes.

15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine processes and improve efficiency.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Familiarity with operations, workflows, and processes related to application support.

2. Understanding of relevant computer hardware and software applications.
