Job Overview

**Job Summary:**

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and adaptable Mammography Technologist to fill a 13-week contract position in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures, providing a comfortable and secure environment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure seamless communication and patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • ARRT certification in Mammography.
  • Valid Texas state license in Mammography Technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Strong understanding of mammography safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments, prioritizing patient care and safety.
  • Excellent technical skills in operating mammography equipment, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and some Saturdays, as needed.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
