Job Description

The Plumbing Specialist at Washington Hospital is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all plumbing systems within the facility. This includes repairing, maintaining, and installing plumbing and pipefitting in accordance with established medical, plumbing, and building code protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the professional staff in providing plumbing services, installations, and repairs under the supervision of the Chief Operating Engineer.
  2. Demonstrate competency in Washington Hospital's Core Plumbing Skills and Responsibilities.
  3. Accurately report information to members of the department team and other hospital staff to ensure adequate and appropriate care.
  4. Complete all technical skills and procedures as delegated according to established Washington Hospital Core Plumbing Skills & Responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License with no Tier-D Violations.
  • Current Master Plumbers Registration acceptable to Washington County Division of Permits and Licensing.
  • Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional overtime.
