Also, they must have good knowledge of Soldering processes and solder repair methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
  • Use microscopes to verify correct part placement and orientation
  • Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts / leads, tombstoned and or billboarded components and any out solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • US Citizenship
  • Able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where some overtime may be required
Benefits:

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. PGS Worldwide offers a competitive benefits package, including medical insurance and paid time off.
