Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Group Programming Activities: Develop and lead group programming activities that promote socialization, leisure, and daily living skills.
  • Provide Individualized Treatment Activities: Offer alternative, individual, and tailored treatment activities as needed for patient care.
  • Complete Activity Therapy Assessments: Conduct assessments to identify patients' leisure strengths and interests.
  • Maintain a Safe and Therapeutic Milieu: Participate with other personnel in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Assist with Safety Observations and Emergency Response: Assist with safety observations and respond to emergencies according to hospital procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreational or Occupational Therapy: A Bachelor of Science in Recreational or Occupational Therapy from an accredited academic institution.
  • CTRS Certification or Equivalent: CTRS certification or other appropriate certification or license.
