The role of the bartender is to deliver exceptional "Guest First" service consistently, ensuring that the Guest remains the focal point of all activities. This involves engaging with Guests and Team Members in a friendly and timely manner, preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, making suggestions, addressing inquiries, taking and delivering orders, collaborating with the team, and following up to guarantee that each Guest receives their correct food and drink orders. Every Guest should feel welcomed at all times.


Physical Requirements:
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, and serving items weighing between 20-40 pounds throughout an eight-hour shift.
  • Ability to balance a serving tray while transferring beverage orders.
  • Must be able to stand and walk continuously for 6-8 hours.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach for products and items.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperature environments, such as cold storage and hot cooking areas.
  • Must maintain cleanliness and organization at the station while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work in noisy environments, such as during special performances or with the sound of dishwashing equipment.
Education / Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience as a bartender is preferred.
  • California Food Handler Certificate is required.
  • Fluency in English is necessary; proficiency in Mandarin and Spanish is preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be at least 21 years old as mandated by alcohol regulations.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a spirit of teamwork.
  • Must obtain the California Food Handler Certificate.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Greets and welcomes Guests in accordance with established service protocols.
  • Receives beverage orders from servers or directly from Guests, confirming orders for accuracy.
  • Provides information and recommendations regarding food, beverages, features, and other restaurant services.
  • Understands and follows procedures for serving Guests with food allergies.
  • Checks Guests' identification to confirm age eligibility for alcohol purchases.
  • Prepares cocktails and other bar beverages following company recipes.
  • Adheres to alcohol awareness protocols to prevent over-serving; informs the Manager on Duty of any concerns regarding alcohol service.
  • Delivers outstanding Customer Service consistently.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Conducts inventory counts at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Maintains inventory as assigned.
  • Assists fellow Team Members in fulfilling Guest needs.
  • Completes side work at the start, during, and end of each shift as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
