Precision Machinist

ConMed North America is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in Largo, FL. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality components.

• Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC mills (3-4 axis VMC and 5+ axis VMC) and CNC lathes (5+ axis) to produce high-quality components.
• Programming and Troubleshooting: Utilize G-Code and M-Code programming for machine operations and conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure continuous operation.
• Collaboration and Quality Control: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and inspect finished products for quality and precision, making adjustments as necessary.

• Experience and Skills: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of CNC tooling, proficiency in G-Code and M-Code programming, and experience with machine setups for production runs.
• Machine Familiarity: Hands-on experience with CNC mills (3-4 axis and 5+ axis) and CNC lathes (5+ axis) and familiarity with machine brands such as Haas, Okuma, Fanuc, Mazak, Star, Citizen, Tsugami, DMG Mori Seiki, and Doosan.
• Problem-Solving and Teamwork: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• CNC Tooling and Programming: Proficiency in CNC tooling, G-Code, and M-Code programming.
• Machine Setups and Maintenance: Experience with machine setups for production runs and routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
