Family Medicine Physician

Dignity Health Medical Group - Merced is seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide comprehensive medical care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and diseases.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, lifestyle, and personal preferences.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories, including physical exams, laboratory tests, and imaging studies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise medical information and fostering a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, and perform procedures as needed, collaborating with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, reviewing and analyzing clinical outcomes for continuous improvement, and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, staying informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, and participating in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices, participating in ongoing medical education and training, and contributing to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license.
- Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine (ABMS or AOA).
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program.
- This position is eligible for H1B Visa sponsorship.
