Overnight Hotel Auditor

Fairfield Inn and Suites - PAH Management is currently seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to handle essential auditing tasks during the overnight shift.

The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of the hotel by:

• Conducting audits and balancing reports for all food and beverage outlets, ensuring accuracy in cash and credit operations.
• Reviewing and reconciling front desk transactions, including room charges and adjustments, to uphold cash handling standards.
• Preparing and verifying room statistics to assist management in evaluating performance.
• Compiling daily reports through inputting statistics and income journal sheets.
• Closing all bank ticket codes on a daily basis.
• Executing the final night audit to confirm that all revenues are balanced.
• Performing front desk duties, including express checkouts, as needed.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent experience.
• A background in accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in operating a personal computer, cash register, and calculator.
• Strong ability to compile and analyze data.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and guest relations skills.

Applicants should be able to:

• Lift files or papers weighing up to 5 lbs. frequently, and luggage up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Move between various areas of the hotel with ease.
• Perform tasks without continuous standing, climbing, or driving.
