Key Responsibilities:
The Laboratory Analyst will be responsible for conducting nutrient assessments on various nutritional products, ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks. This role involves performing analytical evaluations on both raw materials and finished goods as outlined in established protocols, under the supervision of a laboratory manager or method specialist. The successful candidate will prioritize delivering high-quality outcomes while complying with safety and laboratory regulations. There may also be opportunities to engage in method development, investigations, and validation tasks.
Key Duties Include:
- Preparation, analysis, and processing of nutrient testing on research samples.
- Verification of results against established specifications, ensuring that analytical documentation is thorough, precise, and compliant.
- Upholding excellent laboratory practices.
- Conducting accurate and meticulous testing in accordance with laboratory protocols.
- Managing sample timelines and addressing sample backlogs effectively.
- Utilizing various analytical instruments, including performing maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Executing wet chemistry analyses.
- Investigating method deviations and unusual results.
- Ensuring compliance with data integrity standards and adherence to safety and internal regulations.
Essential Competencies:
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues while sharing laboratory resources.
- Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
