Job Overview

Volt is seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team in a machining environment.

  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of products during production to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify and document non-conformances, and interpret inspection procedures to drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze and evaluate statistical data to optimize quality control processes.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and diagrams to ensure accurate product inspection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend quality or production standard modifications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of quality experience in a machining environment.
  • Proficiency with measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new quality control software.
  • Ability to perform final inspections and create Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
