Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations, addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations.
- Address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
- Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition.
- Assist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Assess operating room/procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtain supplies for individual cases, and ensure all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met.
- Monitor, position, and assist patient during procedure.
Requirements
- Current NV RN license.
- At least one year experience in the Operating Room.
- Current ACLS & BLS certification.
