Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Machine Operator to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining our extrusion equipment to produce high-quality polypropylene pellets in log form.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain extrusion equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize production
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Monitor and control production processes to meet quality and production targets
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental safety, quality, and regulatory goals
  • Inspect raw materials and products to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Document and report production data and quality issues
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a machine operating or maintenance role
  • Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule, including weekends and overtime as required
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate production software
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and practices
  • Basic SAP experience and knowledge of production software
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
