Reporting directly to the Controller, the Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, while also supporting various accounting functions such as cost accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting. An effective Financial Analyst is a collaborative team player with strong analytical abilities, a solid grasp of GAAP principles, and the capacity to exercise professional judgment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Reliability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential qualities for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Accounts Payable department.
- Document banking transactions and ensure bank account reconciliations.
- Analyze and review capital projects.
- Manage fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and reconciliations.
- Promote and maintain a robust internal control framework.
- Compile month-end accruals and prepare necessary journal entries.
- Conduct general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable invoicing, collections, and other accounting tasks.
- Provide analytical support on an as-needed basis.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing accounting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across various skill levels.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all reporting and information dissemination.
- Proficient in Excel and experience with manufacturing ERP systems are advantageous.
