Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating clients with speech, language, and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluation and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders, using your expertise to identify the root causes of communication difficulties.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, working closely with clients and their families to ensure effective care.
  • Therapy Sessions: Provide direct therapy to clients, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care, maintaining open lines of communication and fostering a supportive environment.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and client progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
